Experiences at Dr. Roger‘s office

I do not usually write reviews about doctor’s appointments, but in this case, I felt compelled to speak up. My wife and I scheduled full body skin checks with Dr. Henry Heaton months in advance. We made the appointments in person while my wife was already seeing Dr. Heaton for another issue, and the appointments were confirmed. When we arrived, we checked in and waited to be called in. I was called first, even though my wife’s appointment was scheduled for that time. I was then told I would be seeing Dr. Ragi instead. I explained that I had specifically scheduled with Dr. Heaton. At that point, I was told that Dr. Heaton would not be seeing me that day. He is only seeing women patients that day. I received no prior notice that my appointment would be changed. I found the experience frustrating and unprofessional, especially after waiting months for the appointment. I have since chosen to continue my dermatology care with a different office that better fits my expectations regarding scheduling and communication.

Dr. Heaton is amazing so patient so kind and Reassuring. Even took the time to find several photos to show me. Emily was great, answering my questions. Barbara handled my first call and had a great phone manner and handled the scheduling perfectly. Dr. Heaton gets a 10 plus from me so far. I have never been to an office that runs as efficiently. Barely sat down and was called immediately into examining room. Thanks for valuing your patients time.

Dr. Heaton performed MOHS surgery on my face. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He explained the procedure and what to expect. He did a great job. Making the appointment to see doctor Henry was a hassle. They spelled my name wrong, so they couldn’t send me the forms to sign ahead of time and then sent me home because I didn’t get there 30 min early. At first, I was a little skeptical. However, when I saw the doctor, it wound up being a great visit. He answered all questions I had, made me comfortable. The doctor was attentive, professional and friendly. He explained the process and what my insurance would and wouldn’t cover. He set realistic expectations. Also, the office was spotless I will be going for a few treatments and procedures over the next couple of months and so far, it’s off to a great start. I would highly recommend him and his service. Just be patient with the front desk and come extra early for your appointment.

Dr Ragi is an exceptionally talented dermatologist. Gave me a thorough exam, addressed all my concerns giving me several meds for my issues. Removed a growth from my forehead painlessly. My health insurance only covers NY doctors, Dr Ragi gave me a very fair price for visit. I live in NY state but I come back to Dr Ragi because it’s very difficult to find a dermatologist with his expertise and experience where I live. He has treated several generations in my family. If you have a dermatological issues no worries call Dr Ragi you will be glad you did.
