It can affect people in the age group of 30 to 50 but is more common in women than men. The symptoms of this condition begin gradually so Rosacea is often mistaken as sunburn in the beginning. When the condition is worse, the redness becomes more obvious and lasts for a longer period. Some patients may also experience a burning or stinging sensation. Rosacea is in its advanced stage, most of the face of a patient gets affected. The skin starts swelling while there are small bumps that may appear on the skin. This skin condition is also called Rhinophyma and though rare, generally affects men.

Causes of Rosacea

There are various ideas about what are the causes of this skin condition. Though it is more prevalent in people with fair complexion, Rosacea can attack people with any type of skin complexion. Some of the possible causes of the ailment are as follows:
