Your skin protects you from the environment around you. But over the years, it begins to show signs of damage and wear and tear. Acne leaves scars. Dead skin cells create a rough texture and an uneven tone. And lines and wrinkles start setting in.
While you can’t stop these natural changes, you can do something about the effects they have on your skin’s appearance. Chemical peels are topical, noninvasive treatments that can shed damaged skin and reveal fresher, smoother skin in as little as one week.
Chemical peels can treat many types of skin damage, and they’re safe for most skin types. Our team at Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center specializes in Vitality Institute (VI) chemical peels, known for their superior results. Here’s what you need to know.
Vitality Institute peels contain a blend of acids and chemicals that trigger exfoliation and skin cell turnover. When applied, they help your skin shed dead cells and impurities. They also stimulate new cell growth to make your skin brighter, smoother, and more even.
Our peels use ingredients like:
At Advanced Laser and Skin Cancer Center, we provide a suite of VI peels for our clients, including the following:

Your appointment starts with a skin analysis. We examine your skin, paying close attention to any problem areas. We ask about your medical history and your goals for treatment, then we select a VI peel formulation with your skin type and needs in mind.
Then we cleanse your skin and brush on the peel. Then you’re free to go home. The solution will temporarily turn your skin white, but this is normal. You’ll need to leave it on for at least four hours, then you can rinse it off. After a few days, your skin will start shedding.
Your skin may peel for up to one week. During this time, you’ll need to follow our instructions for cleansing and protecting your skin.
Once the peel is finished, your skin will be brighter, smoother, and more even-toned. If you’re happy with your results, you can continue getting peels as frequently as once a month to keep your skin looking fresh and vibrant.
